Attendance Boundary Information

The North Kitsap School District Board of Directors, approved the recommended attendance boundary changes submitted by the Attendance Boundary Task Force, on June 9, 2005. These changes were implemented with the opening of Kingston High School, and the change of the grade configuration to K-5; 6-8; and 9-12 in September 2007. In the 2008-2009 school year, the board changed an attendance boundary within the Breidablik attendance area. ALL Breidablik students are now assigned to Kingston Middle School. The middle school boundary map for KMS and PMS is currently being updated. The middle school map attached to this page is a draft.

The Attendance Boundary Task Force would like to thank everyone for their comments and suggestions during this challenging task. The task force was charged with not only rebalancing our elementary and junior high schools, due to growth over the last 10 years, but also to recommend the new high school boundary for the opening of Kingston High School in 2007.

If you have any questions you may e-mail boundary@nkschools.org If you have questions about a specific street or address please call the District Records office at 360 779-8792.
