What do you need to be eligible to participate in athletics at North Kitsap High School?
Eligibility: All participants must be enrolled at North Kitsap School District with North Kitsap High School their school of record. They must maintain passing grades (i.e. pass 5 classes in a 6 period schedule) and pass Bi-monthly eligibility checks.
Fees, Fines & ASB: All participants must purchase an NKHS ASB Card ($35) and pay all their fines before participating in any sport. The NKSD athletic participation fee of $75 must be paid before competing.
Insurance: All participants must have health insurance.
Required Athletic Items
1. ATHLETIC PACKET ALL forms must be filled out, signed and returned to the Athletic Office for clearance BEFORE participation.
2. NKSD ATHLETIC HANDBOOK- The handbook must be read by ALL STUDENT-ATHLETES AND THEIR PARENTS participating in sports in the North Kitsap School District. Once the handbook is read please sign the athletic registration form verifying that you read and agree to abide by the contents.
3. INDIVIDUAL RISK MANAGEMENT SPORT SAFETY GUIDELINE FORM- A risk management form specific to each sport that needs to be signed and returned to the Athletic Office. The form needs to be turned in for each sport. Click on the sport below for the form...

4. ImPACT CONCUSSION BASELINE TESTING- ALLstudent-athletes must take the ImPACT concussion baseline test in order to participate in athletics. This testing is done through the Athletic Medicine program at North Kitsap High School and is good for two years at which point they will have to retake their baseline test.
