Hi, I'm Terrye Davenport and I am very happy that you have chosen to look into the Parent Assisted Learning (PAL) program offered by the North Kitsap School District.  We like to think we have the some of the best families, and students, in the entire State of Washington.

Here's a little bit about me.

 

I was raised in a small town in central Oklahoma called Seminole.  I moved to the Seattle area about 15 years ago and have taught middle school in Issaquah, Poulsbo and Kingston. 

 

The PAL program is new to me having started working here just this year, but you know what ... this has been great fun and I have really enjoyed the families and staff involved in PAL.

 

My general philosophy about education is that discovery is fun.  It may require some hard work, but all the while, we know and feel that what we are learning will have a purpose in what we do later in life.  I welcome you talk with me about what most excites you in the world and lets see how we might build an educational program around that ... and work together to have as much fun as we can.
