Online Check in Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to the most frequently asked questions for Online Check-in. If you do not see the answer to your question, or are still having difficulty, contact District Records at (360) 396-3588 or districtrecords@nkschools.org.  Someone will call you shortly.

I forgot or do not have a password for Family Access. How do I reset or obtain one?

Contact District Records at (360) 396-3588 or districtrecords@nkschools.org for password assistance.

Can I check-in from my smartphone or tablet?

No, check-in must be completed from a computer. The check-in feature is not optimized for use on smartphones and tablets.

I do not have a computer at home, how may I complete the check-in process?

Computers are available at each school and at the Student Support Center at 18360 Caldart Avenue, Poulsbo. You may also access a computer at any Kitsap Regional Library. Use the link below to access Family Access.

I have already registered my middle/high school student for classes, do I still need to check-in?

Yes! Registration allows students to select classes. Online Check-in will confirm your student's enrollment for the upcoming school year and allows you to complete important required paperwork. Please be sure to do both.

I have applied for my student to attend a school outside of our home attendance boundary. Online Check-in only lists my attendance boundary school and not the school we requested.  What do I do now?

No worries. You will need to check-in your student to the school that is listed (your home attendance boundary school). If your student is accepted to the out of attendance boundary school, their information will be properly transmitted to the correct school. Checking in will not invalidate your request!
