The admissions process at Spectrum/KPAL is designed to help students and parents gain a clear understanding of life in our optional program, including our commitment to help students make informed post-high school career choices. To this end, we ask that all applicants schedule an appointment that includes a parent or guardian and complete application forms that are fairly standard across the district. Applicants, parent or guardian, and Spectrum's guidance counselor will meet for about an hour. The discussion topics that are presented during our meeting are designed to help students express their goals personal values, and willingness to participate in an environment of trust and respect.
