Winter weather can be unpredictable and vary greatly throughout our district.  We want you to be prepared for changes in school schedules due to snow, poor road conditions and wind storms.

Visit our Emergency Information - Closures, Delays and Early Dismissals page for all the latest information. We will do our best to activate our communication by 5:45am when schools and learning will be affected by winter weather.


As a district, we recognize the importance of continuous learning even in an unplanned closure. Due to the distance learning and hybrid in-person schedules we have this year; we are  making adjustments to our inclement weather proceduresFor this school year, our inclement weather days will now be remote learning days whenever possible.

A few things to remember:

  • No News is Good News! - We will not send official notification out when schools run on a normal schedule.
  • Local news and radio stations will have school delays and closures from across the state listed. Visit Flashalert to access and sign up for emergency messages.  
  • Our websites will have an alert posted.
  • Parents/Guardians - You will receive an email and a phone call to the contact information you have listed in Skyward. Make sure we have the correct contacts!
  • Social Media - We will post schedule changes to our social media accounts.
