US News and World Report evaluated more than 21,000 public high schools in 49 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals based on state proficiency standards and how well they prepare students for college.
The Washington State Board of Education and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction has recognized KHS as one of the state's top-performing schools.
