About Us

North Kitsap School District serves approximately 5,200 students across six elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools in the communities of Poulsbo, Kingston, Suquamish, Hansville, Keyport, Indianola, and Port Gamble. Located on Washington's Kitsap Peninsula, the district spans approximately 98 square miles.

The district is proud to partner with the Suquamish Tribe and the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe to support student learning and honor the history, cultures, and traditions of our community. We also proudly serve a large military-connected student population, with more than one in five students coming from military families.

Guided by our strategic plan, we are committed to creating schools that ignite each student's potential and foster resilience, empathy, and creativity. Together with our families, staff, and community, we work to ensure every student is known, valued, supported, and prepared to thrive.
