2022 Facilities and Technology Capital Levy
The North Kitsap School District is dedicated to high-quality education, supported by the voter-approved 2022 Facilities and Technology Capital Projects Levy. This levy is focused on improving our schools' physical and digital environments, which are crucial for student learning.
The levy provides essential funding for maintaining and repairing school facilities to ensure health, comfort, safety, and security. These improvements create safe and supportive learning spaces that benefit student development.
In addition to facility maintenance, the levy allocates resources to upgrade classroom technology, including interactive digital screens and Chromebooks for all students. This promotes equitable access to digital tools across the district.
The levy also supports expansions at David Wolfe and Suquamish Elementary Schools and funds the removal of aging portables at Poulsbo Middle School, replacing them with new classrooms for enhanced safety.
To plan for future growth, the levy includes funding for purchasing property in Poulsbo for potential elementary school expansion and developing a comprehensive facilities plan.
