Kingston Athletic Complex
Building a place for students and community to gather
For years, Kingston students and community members have hosted games, events, and activities at a field that lacks basic infrastructure. Thanks to strong community support, important progress is already underway. The 2024 Capital Projects Levy, approved by voters, funded the installation of potable water at the baseball and softball fields and added fencing to support ticketed events. These improvements laid important groundwork, but significant needs remain.
This next phase will add essential amenities like covered grandstands and permanent restroom facilities so the site can fully support school athletics, community events, and shared celebrations.
Students across our district deserve safe, welcoming, and functional facilities. Creating an athletic complex in Kingston helps remove barriers to access, expands opportunities for students, and strengthens Kingston as a community hub.
This project is part of the district’s long-range facilities master plan and reflects our commitment to improving student and community spaces across North Kitsap.
Community support is already underway
We are proud to share that the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe has contributed $25,000 to help launch this effort. Their commitment reflects a shared belief that students and families across our district deserve facilities that support learning, activities, and community connection.
