Child Find (Birth to Age 21)
Child Find Screening
The Child Find program provides families with the support and services needed to ensure their child has access to a robust early learning education.
Parents can schedule a Child Find Screening for a child who is:
- Approaching their 3rd birthday
- Residing in the North Kitsap School District
Parents residing in the North Kitsap School District can complete a Preschool Child Find Questionnaire to begin the process of referring their child for a Child Find Screening. Once completed, a district representative will review the form and contact you to schedule a Child Find Screening. All screenings occur at the Preschool Assessment Center in Portable D at Poulsbo Elementary School. Screenings are available on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 or 11:00 am, or on Thursdays at 12:30 or 2:30 pm.

For children under the age of 3, parents can contact Holly Ridge Center at (360) 373-2536 to inquire about assessment and services. The Child Find program is committed to providing families with the support and services they need to ensure that every child has access to the resources they need to succeed.
