NKSD Preschool Overview & Registration

Our district offers Child Find services for birth to age three, Developmental Preschool for ages 3-5 (age five after 9/1 only), and Head Start programs for ages 3-5. Our early childhood programs provide a strong foundation for academic, social, and lifetime achievement for all children.

At the center of each team, teachers and parents work collaboratively, supported by administrators, counselors, and instructional support teachers. In the event of any challenges with a child's progress or development, the teacher and team members will meet to create a customized plan for the child's success. Psychologists, speech/language pathologists, occupational & physical therapists, and school nurses are key members who provide services for students who qualify.

Registration in 3 Steps

1. Create a Skyward account for new / transfer students
2. Complete Online Enrollment forms to register
3. Check Enrollment FAQS for required documents, etc.
