Celebrating Black History Month
Celebrating Black History Month
Updated
In February, we commemorate Black History Month, acknowledging the accomplishments and historical significance of African Americans spanning various periods in U.S. history. The 2025 theme is "African Americans and Labor" with a focus on the various and profound ways that work of all kinds intersects with the collective experiences of Black people. In NKSD, we acknowledge and pay tribute to the pivotal role Black and African Americans have held in shaping U.S. history, recognizing their contributions, achievements, and enduring legacy.
