April is School Library Month—a time to celebrate the incredible impact of our Library Media Specialists and the vibrant learning environments they help create in our schools.
Library Media Specialists connect students with books that spark imagination, fuel curiosity, and help them see themselves in new ways. They teach digital citizenship and research skills that are essential in today’s world. They guide students in becoming thoughtful, responsible users of information—and open the door to lifelong learning.
They’re also vital partners to our educators, supporting classroom instruction with resources, tech tools, and creative collaboration. And they support families too, helping bridge the gap between home and school learning.
Our Library Media Specialists make our schools stronger, more connected places to learn. Thank you for everything you do to inspire, support, and empower our students and staff every day.
