Kids and teens 18 and under can get free meals all summer - no sign-up or ID needed.

SUN Bucks: $120 Grocery Benefit for Eligible Students This Summer

This summer, eligible families can receive $120 per school-aged child through SUN Bucks, a new grocery benefit that helps cover the cost of food while school is out.

SUN Bucks is available to students who are approved for free or reduced-price meals and works alongside other benefits like SNAP and WIC.

Students who are already approved for free or reduced-price meals will automatically receive SUN Bucks—no further action needed. However, students who attend schools that offer meals at “No Cost” to all students must still apply and be approved for free or reduced-price meals to qualify for SUN Bucks.

To receive the benefit, families should apply as soon as possible and ensure their mailing address is current in Skyward, as the SUN Bucks card will be mailed directly to your home.
