Poulsbo Middle School Recognized by Washington School Recognition Program
Updated

Poulsbo Middle School has been recognized by the Washington School Recognition Program for Student Growth in one or more racial or ethnic groups during the 2024–2025 school year.

Schools recognized for Growth have at least one student group that made some of the largest gains in the state across multiple measures between the 2023–24 and 2024–25 school years. These measures include English language arts and math performance, attendance, graduation rates, and other indicators of student success, while also reflecting progress in reducing gaps between student groups.

At Poulsbo Middle School, Native American student growth from the 2023–24 to the 2024–25 school year ranked in the top 10% of schools statewide in both English language arts and math student growth percentiles.

This year, 379 public schools across 150 districts in Washington were recognized, representing 16% of schools statewide. Recognition is based on 2025 Washington School Improvement Framework performance data.

This recognition reflects the ongoing work of staff and students to support growth and improve outcomes for all students
