On February 8, 2022, North Kitsap voters approved two propositions aimed at ensuring the continued provision of high-quality education in the district. The first proposition, the
Replacement Educational Program, and Operations (EP&O) Levy, aims to maintain funding for the district's day-to-day operations, including classroom instruction, extracurricular programs, and support services. The levy will provide critical funding for teachers, curriculum development, technology, and other essential resources necessary for delivering a 21st-century education.
The second proposition, the
Replacement Facilities, and Technology Capital Projects Levy provided funding for necessary improvements to the district's infrastructure and technology. This levy will help ensure that the district's schools are maintained to the highest standards of safety, comfort, and security. It will also fund important technology upgrades to ensure that students and staff have access to the latest tools and resources necessary for effective teaching and learning.
Thanks to the support of the local community, North Kitsap School District can continue to provide high-quality teaching and learning for its students. The passage of these propositions will help ensure that the district can continue to deliver on its mission of preparing students to be successful and engaged citizens of the 21st century.
