Covering topics from CPR/AED certification to managing athletic injuries and essential anatomy, the course blends classroom learning with practical laboratory activities to equip students with the medical skills necessary for injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  • Athletic Medicine II: (NKHS) Building on the foundations from Athletic Medicine I, this course delves deeper into practical skills such as injury evaluation, taping, and rehabilitation, focusing on areas like the foot, ankle, knee, shoulder, and abdomen. Designed for students pursuing careers in healthcare and medicine, it also emphasizes athletic administration, leadership, and employability standards to meet Career and Technical Education requirements.
  • Anatomy and Physiology: (NKHS) This course explores the structure and function of the human body, making it particularly beneficial for those considering health-related careers.
