In accordance with Washington state law, parents choosing Home Based Instruction for their children at NKSD must file an annual declaration of intent, indicating their plans to continue with home-based education. This declaration should be submitted to the appropriate superintendent, as outlined in the state regulations.

NKSD supports and respects the choice of families opting for Home Based Instruction and works collaboratively with parents to ensure a well-rounded and enriching educational experience for their children. By offering this option, NKSD aims to empower families to take charge of their child's education and foster individual growth and success.
