Summer School

• Credit Recovery Summer Sessions: July 6, 2023 - August 11, 2023
• Initial Credit Summer Sessions: May 1, 2023 - August 11, 2023

North Kitsap High School's Computer Lab 500 is available to students Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A summer school teacher will be on-site to provide assistance and guidance. Students must bring their own school-issued Chromebooks.

The Credit Recovery curriculum from Fuel Education is an online program, allowing students to work at their own pace at home or in the computer lab. Initial credit coursework will be conducted through an online instructor, but students can access the computer lab for coursework between July 10th and August 17th.

• Credit Recovery: No cost for students in grades 9-12
• Initial Credit: $250.00 per semester course

• Available online beginning May 2, 2023
• Must be completed online
• Printed, signed by a parent/guardian, and submitted to the student’s counselor for review and signature
• The counselor verifies that the student has signed up for the correct class.
• Completed applications submitted to Counseling Office for class enrollment

All students who are Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors during the 2022-23 school year and have failed/NC one or more terms of a course before the Spring Semester of 2022-2023 will need to sign up by June 16, 2023.

Any students who fail a Spring Term course will be allowed to enroll in person with a high school counselor on the first two days of the summer term - July 6 and 7.

Enrollment will be closed to everyone at 12:00 PM on July 7, 2023.

• Enrollment starts May 2, 2023
• Complete the application online (Same summer school application)
• Printed, signed by parent or guardian, course(s) verified and signed by the counselor
• Pay at High School ASB window ($250.00 per semester course)
• Application and Receipt to enrollment registrar at building (TBD) for final enrollment

Initial credit enrollment ends on June 17, 2023. The application will be available on May 2, 2023.
